It’s all kind of ironic and frustrating because obviously insulin (un)affordability and the deadly consequences thereof is a major topic for us, but he’s identified us with the bad guys in his persecution thoughts. Isolating yourself away from the people who are trying to help you is one of things that goes along with his mental disorder, so it’s a potentially deadly combination.
