# Hootsuite doesn't like Discourse RSS

Hi:

I’m using Hootsuite for managing our social networks at [HackLab Almería](http://hacklabalmeria.net/). Hootsuite has a feature for autopublishing items using RSS feed. But for any reason I don’t know it doesn’t like our Discourse generated one:

The RSS feed is [https://foro.hacklabalmeria.net/c/observatorio.rss](https://foro.hacklabalmeria.net/c/observatorio.rss) and the validation service says [it’s kosher](https://validator.w3.org/feed/check.cgi?url=https%3A%2F%2Fforo.hacklabalmeria.net%2Fc%2Fobservatorio.rss).

The more annoying thing is this feature was working some months ago and now I realized it doesn’t, but don’t know if is related with a Discourse upgrade or what.

Anyone knows if something can be wrong at Discourse side? We are using a recent updated 1.6.0.beta12 +108 version.

Have you asked HootSuite if they know what might be going wrong? Afaik we haven’t received reports of RSS feeds failing in other apps, so this seems specific to HootSuite.

You did the right thing by validating the RSS feed.. if the RSS validators say it is valid, the problem isn’t ours!
