Continuing the discussion from [Fediverse Report – #129](https://socialhub.activitypub.rocks/t/fediverse-report-129/5484/4):

@angus is there a way to capture an existing discussion on the Fediverse into a Discourse topic? That would be _so useful_, especially when stumbling upon a related discussion like this. It could help make the discussion more visible so more people can participate, and also archive it for posterity. Plus the obvious productivity boost of being able to quote and such...
