# Hosted discourse, google oauth2 \> 502 on callback

Hi,

I’m using the hosted discourse installation, and have configured the google oauth2 settings.

The callback url called from google is setup correctly, but then gives the user a 502 on discourse.

Hi Robert,

I was able to signup using Google (a gmail address), and to log in to an existing account with Google too (my [discourse.org](http://discourse.org) address). Can you give us any other info that could narrow it down?

That’s where I tested. You’ll see in your users list that I have two accounts. 😊 One was created with Google Oauth, the other one was a signup without Google Oauth and then log in with Google later. Both cases worked for me.
