# How can I add category specific moderators

Hi there, im trying to add category specific moderators but unable to find the settings to do so.

For example, in this post the op ask about some setting which i cannot find in my discourse. [What are all the things a category moderator can do?](https://meta.discourse.org/t/what-are-all-the-things-a-category-moderator-can-do/308745)

Basically what Im trying to achieve is, create groups and add group specific categories. Then only allow few members from each of these groups to moderate the content for group specific categories. Every group has unique categories as well.

My current version is 3.3.2

Any help would be really appreciate. Thanks

Have you enabled the `Enable category group moderation` site setting ?

After enabling it, the input for adding moderators is found in the category’s settings page `https://your-discourse com/c/category_slug/edit/settings`

Thank you so much. Was able to find the setting in `/admin/site_settings/category/groups` and after toggling it i was able to see the setting as you mentioned.
