# כיצד אוכל לבדוק אם יש לי זכויות ליצור קטגוריות?

I should be an admin, I see an admin panel, I see “READ ME FIRST: Admin Quick Start Guide”

But when I go to `/categories` I see no edit/wrench button promised at [How to add categories](https://meta.discourse.org/t/how-to-add-categories/71859)

Maybe somehow I am admin without rights to edit categories?

It is possible for moderators to create and manage categories and groups, but you’d need your admin to enable `moderators manage categories and groups` from the admin settings page.

Thanks! That exactly solved my problem! @manuel info was also useful and answered asked question, but your answer was also extremely useful to actually solve the issue and I have now that extra category.
