# Como posso criar um tópico que não enviará emails?

I need to create a reference topic in our forum that is not emailed to everyone, but that people can see.

I could create it in my forum’s Lounge, etc, edit it, then move it to somewhere visible.

Are we sure that it won’t get emailed to people once it’s visible?

No way that I know of, other than keeping it in a secure category. And even then, digests assume the trust level of the user as far as I know, so if the user can see it, it could be emailed.

Perhaps if it is a very old topic it’d be immune to selection for inclusion in the digest?

Ok, cool

I think my solution is to post a stub of a topic outlining the content. I let it get emailed / included in digests, then I’ll go back and adding in all the details that I don’t want emailed out.

In this case, it’s a list of malware, so the emails would get trapped in spam filters.. I don’t care if the people see the message, but if it were emailed, it’d hurt our sender reputation.
