Hello, currently, I’m creating some topics using the discourse API on our self-hosted discourse instance. These topics are created and updated by the system user, and everything is working properly, however, every time I update the topic using this user, this automatically generates a new post on the topic with the changes that have occurred.

Is there a way to disable this behavior?

Hello and welcome @pedroven 🙂

Those particular small action posts are added as part of the `create post for category and tag changes` admin setting:

If you disable that then they should no longer be generated for category and tag changes. 👍
