# How can I enable: Auto-hyperlinking text to reference to other posts?

So I just noticed in [meta.discourse.com](http://meta.discourse.com) that when I typed `safe mode` in plain text, it automatically creates a hyperlink like this: [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true)
- Notice how in the editor I did not use markdown to make the word `safe mode` hyperlinked.
What is this feature called? How can I enable it on my forum?

You can use watched word to change a term into a link

@moin is correct, we use Watched Words to linkify eg [safe mode](https://meta.discourse.org/t/53504?silent=true), [data explorer](https://meta.discourse.org/t/32566?silent=true), [standard install](https://meta.discourse.org/t/142537?silent=true), etc, though the [Auto-Linkify Words](https://meta.discourse.org/t/linkify-words-in-post/82193) theme component has extra functionality if you need it. đź‘Ť

I chose the vanilla option by @Moin to reduce adding to many plugins.
