Es gibt keine Möglichkeit, eine eigene Discourse-Instanz kostenlos zu betreiben. Sie müssen entweder Hardware kaufen, auf der sie läuft, oder sie irgendwo mieten.

Sie können jedoch einen Cloud-Anbieter nutzen, die meisten bieten Ihnen ein paar hundert Dollar an kostenlosem Guthaben, es gibt jedoch einige Nachteile und Einschränkungen.

Hallo @JammyDodger. Wir brauchen wirklich eine FAQ dafür. Vielleicht mit einem automatischen Link zu etwas wie „kostenloses Hosting“, damit wir sagen könnten: „Siehe die FAQ zu kostenlosem Hosting“.

Hast du eine Kreditkarte? Wenn ja, empfehle ich DigitalOcean. Es kostet nichts und funktioniert gut mit Discourse, obwohl du eine Domain kaufen musst.  
Ich empfehle [Namecheap](https://namecheap.com) oder wenn du kein Geld für eine Domain ausgeben möchtest [freenom](https://freenom.com).

Nutze dann den kostenlosen Plan von Cloudflare und verbinde ihn mit deinem DigitalOcean-Server und es sollte funktionieren!

Welchen Domainnamen möchten Sie? Sie müssen ihn exakt eingeben, Beispiel: „anxvew.tk“ und er wird funktionieren.
