# How can I see who else sees a category?

We have some closed categories, and a request came up to be able to see the permissions of a specific category.
So: there is a “secret” category. Who can access that category?

Only the Group/Trust Level permitted to view can see the categories
I guess staff too can see all categories irrespective of settings

Fine. I see the “secret” category. But how can I check who else can see the category? Where should I see that?

In the settings of a particular category, on the security tab is where you can find which groups are permitted to view or participate in a category.

Seeing a secret category doesn’t mean you can edit. So: only admins, who can actually edit can see who can access? That’s a pity.
