# Come posso impostare l'editor per selezionare di default la categoria che ho inserito

Quando inserisco una categoria e faccio clic su “post”, desidero che l’editor selezioni per impostazione predefinita la categoria che ho inserito, in modo che l’utente non debba nuovamente aprire il menu a discesa per selezionarla.

Come dovrei configurarlo?

è strano, il mio fa esattamente quello che vuoi, e non credo di aver modificato alcun parametro per ottenerlo 🤔  
Non lo fa quando clicco su `Nuovo argomento` dalla pagina `Principale` o `Categorie`, il che è previsto ovviamente.  
Potresti verificare quali parametri hai modificato?  
Ci sono plugin installati?

Sì, quando ho aggiornato il mio forum non è riuscito a ottenere la categoria. e uso due temi:

Ho testato di nuovo e ho scoperto che se clicco sul tema [GitHub - discourse/discourse-new-topic-button-theme-component](https://github.com/discourse/discourse-new-topic-button-theme-component) per creare un argomento, non riesco a ottenere la categoria.

L’ho appena provato con 2.9.0.beta3 ( [6555f0c11b](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commits/6555f0c11bb04fb4a52b62d6cf62f4df82761cd6) ) ma funziona come previsto. Ricostruirò all’ultima versione e riproverò a riprodurre il problema.  
(poi testerò il componente discourse-expanded-create-topic)

[GitHub - discourse/discourse-new-topic-button-theme-component](https://github.com/discourse/discourse-new-topic-button-theme-component) funziona bene, ma il problema è effettivamente una limitazione di [GitHub - jordanvidrine/discourse-expanded-create-topic](https://github.com/jordanvidrine/discourse-expanded-create-topic)
