# (How) Can we increase the tags limit?

At the Fairphone Forum we use [emoji-flag-tags](https://meta.discourse.org/t/emoji-in-tag-names/44555/7) to indicate languages as well as some [tag groups](https://meta.discourse.org/t/tags-category-restrictions-tag-groups-relationships/48260) with parent tags.  
With multilingual topics and/or topics with parent & child tags the 5 tags limit is often not sufficient.

Is it possible to increase the limit and if so how?

Search for `max tags per topic` in Admin \> Settings
