# How do I create this Parent Category \> Tag structure

Looking to replicate this layout:

User would click Parent category and then have the option to choose the Tags.

I tried to create the Category and then Assign a Tag Group with the tags that I want displayed, but it’s not showing the tags. Do I actually need Topics posted before the drop downs appear?

There’s a setting in `admin > site settings` called `show filter by tag`, do you have that enabled?

Last q. In the Category View, do you know how I can show the Tags under the Parent Category?

Nevermind. Those aren’t tags under the plugin category. Those are sub-categories!
