对我来说，这感觉更像是一个广告或基于产品的平台，而不是一个社区或讨论圈。以前为了这种目的就使用过类似的措辞。我现在可能是在幻觉，但我相当确定我们在一两年前曾在这里见过类似的问题。
我最大的弱点是形象来自受众，如果域名实现了它的目的，无论它是什么，目标受众看到它时停下来，那就是一个很好的名字。

我需要构建一个恰当的语境。我对自由和开源软件（FOSS）非常感兴趣，因此我加入了 FOSS United 的 Discourse 和 Telegram 社区。但由于我好奇心旺盛，我被他们的 Telegram 群组封禁了。此外，由于我的 Discourse 账号自创建起就被禁言，我在将近两天后账号最终被暂停。他们给出的理由是我不停骚扰成员，而事实是，自创建账号以来，我根本无法在任何地方发言。我试图联系管理团队，但这反而被视作骚扰。
现在，如果你害怕被骚扰，最好别去那些开源平台。那里不能有任何形式的管控。身处这样的地方，后果完全由你自己承担。我想，这就是最让人不舒服的真相。后来我得知，FOSS United 服务于大大小小的企业。在开源世界中，用户是社区，而非市场。
这也是我们使用这个奇怪名字的原因。我们是海盗。我们靠盗版生存，因为我们无法在知识产权（IPR）的世界中存活。

目标受众是任何出于任何目的使用互联网甚至计算机的人。这当然不是一个产品，也不完全是一场活动。仅仅是一个让人们可以来讨论他们的问题甚至经验的空间。
我刚刚创建了一些类别，以给用户更广泛的选择：安全与隐私、受您文学想法启发的离题话题、受对游戏感兴趣的人启发的游戏，以及新闻与评论。在这里，您甚至可以讨论关于互联网使用的各种立法。
