# How do i install plugins after doing a fork?

I’ve installed one discourse app in my server, but I just cant put the plugins inside it.

If you’ve installed a development environment, stick your plugins in `discourse/plugins`.

If you mean that you’ve installed a production environment, follow [these instructions](https://meta.discourse.org/t/install-a-plugin/19157).
