# How do I remove the Anniversaries option from the burger menu?

Discourse 3.6.0.beta3-latest ([3183a95823](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/commits/3183a95823f6c95d4ffd96489f4091a545a1953e)).

A new `Anniversaries` option has appeared in my menu:

I cannot remove it because it does not appear in the list custom list 😔

That’s added by the discourse-cakeday plugin — disabling the plugin should remove it. Or, do you want to keep the plugin enabled and simply remove the link?

I don’t even know what a cakeday is, much less if I want to keep it 🤣

I’ve disabled the plugin, that’s removed it - thanks!
