How do moderation actions (Warning, silencing, suspending) work?

Ok, if I get a warning, get silenced, or suspended then what does it mean? I’m requesting a reply from a moderator and/or admin by the way.

FYI most of the people who use this site are Admins and Moderators (albeit sometimes on their own sites!).
