# How do users continue conversation as new topic?

I know there’s been debate about continuing conversations and confusion. Now that the option is gone, what’s the best practices way to continue a conversation where maybe one point a user makes deserves it’s own space for discussion? I believe highlighting and doing “Quote reply” will still default to a reply to that topic and not a new topic.
