# How do you setup discourse for digital ocean?

Hello, I’m having trouble setting up discourse on digital ocean, I do not know how to set it up, and the second problem is, that I’m using a chromebook, can anyone help me?

The docs (specifically [here](https://github.com/discourse/discourse/blob/master/docs/INSTALL-cloud.md)) answer this, though there really isn’t anything unique to Digital Ocean–any VPS should work pretty much the same, as long as they support Docker.

As long as you can run ssh on it, you should be fine. If you can’t, you’d be stuck using the Digital Ocean web console, which is a poor alternative.
