# How do you track topic performance?

How do you track the performance of different topics? I need metrics to show which topics are most important to our community members without having to go into each topic every day. Suggestions?

You can look at the Top topic list available on the hamburger menu:

I personally never use it so I’ve no idea how good it is but there are topics that discuss this:

You can alter the weightings in the settings. Here’s the defaults:

You can also sort the topic list by views, by clicking on the view column.
