# Wie einfach ist es, zu einem anderen Server zu wechseln?

Ich muss nur Discourse auf dem neuen Hosting installieren, die Domain festlegen und dann mein Backup hochladen?

The moving process goes like this:

1. Put forum in Read Only
2. Take a Backup & Download it
3. Point domain to the new Server
4. Install and set up discourse on new server
5. Restore Backup

Note that you can also restore backup from the command line if you wish to skip the setup wizard and initial configuration with the web browser, as well.

Thanks, I can see that anyway you need to rebuild the application so it comes out with same time for work with i.  
Are there any benefits of this solution?
