Just reviewing these later parts of this thread - looks to me like a feature request, or plugin request, to have an option for AI titles when a person is creating a new topic. The aim would be to reduce the friction for the (sole) person writing, and to help the (many) people reading the forum to know what that topic is about.
For that second part, the theme component Topic List Previews is useful, it adds a snippet from the head post below the title of each topic shown. Without it, a person sees something like this

There’s also a facility (somewhere and somehow) to include a thumbnail of an image from the head post, which I also use. Not all posts have images of course:
