# Hoe lang blijft persoonlijke informatie op de servers van Discourse nadat deze aan de voorkant is verwijderd?

Our intended functionality to support this is [user anonymisation](https://meta.discourse.org/t/anonymizing-users-in-discourse/86929).

This will remove the user’s information from the database itself; not only from public-visible areas.
