I’ve recently made a lot of considerable improvement to the Russian translation, as well as translated some key missing strings which spoiled the home page, and now I can’t wait to see it live with my forum, hence the question.
We update translations once a week, usually right before updating the version.
[Good News: Translations will be updated today! :)]
I understand the translations are pulled once a week, but could the English source files be pushed to Transifex more often? Copy changes and new strings appear so often that source strings are rarely up to date in Transifex, not to mention the translations in github/releases. At least then I could pull them manually using the script.
You’re right, from now onwards I will update Transifex source files daily, so that translators can translate latest strings ASAP.
(BTW, I just updated Transifex source files)
Do you still update Transifex source files daily? New keys from recent days have not appeared there yet.
Is this a manual process? Maybe it would be worth automating this and to potentially notify translators (only those that want to) if translations are missing.
