# How %{reply\_key} create?

I don’t think that the alternative reply to address can work. I’m not sure it’s hurting anything, but I’d delete it.

And did you use the [Configure direct-delivery incoming email for self-hosted sites with Mail-Receiver](https://meta.discourse.org/t/straightforward-direct-delivery-incoming-mail/49487) as mail receiver? It doesn’t look like it.
