# How to add a "button" which composes a pre-filled topic

Basically, using the method from [this](https://meta.discourse.org/t/compose-a-new-pre-filled-topic-via-url/28074) post about using a URL to link to a composer of a pre-filled topic in a specific category, I want to put a button/banner of sorts which when clicked basically composes a pre-filled topic in a category. How can I accomplish this? Will I have to use CSS?
