How to add background image in discourse

We are trying to add an background image but not getting success, so is there any one who can tell me how we can add custom background image or color without creating any disturbance.

Provide a link, you probably have something wrong in the CSS. Could be really tricky to help you if your instance is private… :frowning:

I’m using this background image code on my community forum forum.knowledgeidea.com. Now it is working but we want to move forum content more inside white area. Because at this time, forum content showing much nearly to the background image. We want to put distance between content and background image. I think, there is something need for css work?

Okay, that didn’t make much sense to me. Can you screenshot what you see now and what you want it to look like?

I’m assuming you are referring to this space?

If so, you can do that by lowering the max-width on .wrap to something like:

.wrap {
    max-width: 1000px;
}

Haven’t fully tested it though, but that would be where I would start.

There are no enough distance between background image and content, please watch the below snapshot.

Hopefully, now you can understand this strategy.
