# How to add custom links below welcome banner?

Hi everyone - I’m trying to create links (Discover, Customize, Guides, Our Hosting) similar to what is shown in the welcome banner in this site:

I seem to recall I used to have a custom component I added that did this, but that seems to have gotten disabled. Is there a more modern/new way to do this?

Based on our conversation here: [What plug-in or customization for this header? - #2 by Moin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/what-plug-in-or-customization-for-this-header/314483/2), I assume you already use this component.

I wonder, do you still use the deprecated [Search banner](https://meta.discourse.org/t/advanced-search-banner/122939) component instead of the welcome banner in Discourse core? Or do you use the new welcome banner but haven’t updated the `plugin_outlet` setting of the component?
