I’m looking to adjust admins,moderators and various established groups permissions in Discourse. Specifically, I need guidance on how administrators can modify the permissions for admins, moderators and specific groups. Could you please provide instructions or point me to resources that explain how to adjust these permissions effectively?

In Discourse, what you are given is what you get in terms of staff (admin/moderator) permissions. They are set - you cannot change them.

There are now [category moderators](https://meta.discourse.org/t/category-group-review-moderation/116478) available in Discourse. What they can do is trust level dependant but again, they are given a set of tools as standard. You can allow them to have more via [this plugin](https://meta.discourse.org/t/category-moderators-enhancer/268065)
Furthermore, instead of using trust levels, many settings now use groups for permissions.
