You could submit a pull request with the proposed code changes. That being said if you did do a change as a pr one idea woupd be to make the defaults configurable.

Thank you, indeed it was pretty easy to find. I’m not sure PR would be helpful, I think the current names are intentional. Indeed, marking it a setting would be nice. I will look at this
