# How to change the homepage from hot to latest?

Hello everyone!

I have established my own discourse forum and the default homepage is hot topics page. I want to show latest topics or categories on homepage. It might be a naive questions but I have searched a lot and did not find the configuration. Can it be changed?

This isn’t obvious, so it’s not surprising you’re confused. The setting you are looking for is `top menu` and it happens that the first item listed becomes the site home page.

I also found that it can be changed in preferences/interface by every users.
