# How to create a custom ChatGPT based bot?

… but for any of these kind of extensions you would need to be admin.

Unless the admin was happy to give you an API key and you built a script to use the API …

But then if the admin trusted you that much why bother when you have Chatbot and Discourse AI … just ask the admin nicely to install them.
