Estou confuso. Se o onebox está ok, como o exemplo quebrado aconteceu? Você pode postar uma captura de tela de como isso se parece no editor? Sempre que estou colando links, geralmente digito uma descrição, a seleciono, uso Ctrl+K e depois colo o endereço. Se você pegar a atualização de alguns dias atrás (2.8.0.beta9), você pode obter uma versão ainda mais fácil disso.
