# 如何定义类别颜色？

Recently installed a discourse test environment.

I created a category and set a category color successfuly. Im sure I done this while creating the category.

Now I want to change the color of the category, but cant for the life of me figure out how? or how I done it originally, Im sure the below dialog had a color selector before?, but now it doesnt.

I see the category color options on the GENERAL category settings tab myself. Maybe you have to create the category first for them to appear?

Same for editing an exisiting category.

I am sure you changed the `category_style` site setting to “none” in admin section. That’s why it doesn’t displaying the colors.
