# How to determine performance bottleneck?

It depends how they switched to using the hostname after trying to use IP.

Was this installed following the steps in the [Standard Install](https://meta.discourse.org/t/142537?silent=true)? I would have a chat with whoever put the instance together to find out what was done. The IP may still be referenced elsewhere.
