# How to disable e-mail notifications?

How can I disable email alerts for new answers to topics/traced forums?

I expect that with a bigger traffic I will be too easy to exhaust the limit of e-mail messages I have with the Polish email provider EmailLabs.

I only want to stay with the browser + notifications on the forum

You can modify `max emails per day per user` to be 1.

If you’re still getting close to the limit with Jay’s suggestion you should also check `disable digest emails`.
