# כיצד להשבית תמציות נושאים בדף קטגוריה

That is only displayed for pinned posts, unpinning the post would hide the excerpt you are referring to. Another way would be to use CSS and HTML to hide it. Take a look at this theme component [Topic List Excerpts](https://meta.discourse.org/t/topic-list-excerpts-theme-component/151520) for ideas on how you could implement this.
