# How to disable welcoming message when new topic is created

Hello! Im pretty sure this is gonna be a duped topic, but i cant find it anywhere.

Is there any way to disable the welcome message that pops up over the right side of the textbox when someone creates a new topic?

I’ve already tried disabling this option:

but it still pops up.

Any idea?  
And sorry for the inconveniences, im very noob with discourse hehe.

If what you’re talking about is the welcome message when a new tl1 user first creates a new topic, uncheck the check mark in the first box in your screen shot above.

idk if the education pannel is this:

but i’ve disabled tl1 and education pannel, hopefully it will not appear again.
