# How to enable the plugin to recommend similar topics when creating a new topic?

Hi guys,

Does anybody knows how to enable the plugin to recommend similar topics when creating a new topic like this:

When I creating a new topic here, it will recommend me similar topics at the right side, but it doesn’t works in my local Discourse.  
Do I need to install or enable any plugins? (I’m not sure if it’s a plugin and I installed the latest Discourse version.)

It’s part of core. If you have a new community it’s probably just that it’s not finding similar topics. A remote possibility is that you broke it with a custom theme.

Thanks for reply @pfaffman , the root cause is that there are not enough topics exists in my Discourse for recommend. I changed the value of “minimum topic similar” in Settings and it works now.

However, similar topics don’t seem accurate enough and don’t change dynamically when the title change. It will only present once and not appear again when it’s turned off.
