# How to find a picture by extension?

Hi, I try to find a picture posted by myself 🙂.

Searched patterns are: `png`, `jpg`, `gif` or `picture` - no success. The search function returns only images generated by graphviz.

Is any way to find an image by extension?

To find all images you posted, search for

`@username with:images`

This is also available in the advanced search UI. Add search terms or order to taste.

Thank you so much for the response!

But I am not sure that I understand how it works, tested on [try](https://try.discourse.org/t/how-to-find-a-picture/1341). It returns posts with word `image`. After replacing this word to `picture` the search is empty:

It has to say `with:images`, I suggest visiting the advanced search UI so we do not make typos here.
