# How to get Discourse to expand topics?

When I post a topic like this in your Discourse it expands:

But scroll to the bottom of the linked page … why doesn’t it expand links there? Am I missing some kind of configuration?

Seems that here, it does in fact expand it, but it links to a blog:

but linking to the forum itself, it doesn’t… strange
