# How to get in touch with the project mentor

I am applying for Outreachy program this time. I need a little guidance so that I can start working on the projects I’ve selected.  
How to contact a mentor? Is there a mentor allotted to a project or do we need to find someone who’d help us?  
Also, how should I make a contribution ?
