# How to get the uncategorized show up in all category list?

I changed the text of uncategorized to some other name. While I’m playing around with settings, it disappeared in the all categories list from the main page. When I click on Categories, I can find it. How can I make the category appear in all categories drop down menu on the home page?

You’ll be sorry. You already are. It’s not a category and it’s confusing.

Create a category called whatever you renamed it to and move the topics there.

Well right, it is like null in database systems. It is the _absence_ of a category.
