# How to have topic description on top page

Is there any way to show a part of description of a topic on top page?

I want to show to make what the topic is about clear on top page.  
What would you do that to achieve that?

I meant I want to show a description of the all post.  
And thanks for the reference!  
I’ve got what I want is to show excerpts on this layout style.
