# How to influence the length of category excerpts on the "All categories"?

I’m using the Graceful theme (customized) (not sure if it matters), and my category descriptions are cut with the ellipsis … after a certain amount of words, and only a little more is needed to show them all fully. I haven’t found a setting. It would look a bit better if they weren’t cut off. How to achieve this?

I had to use a plugin to show them above the topic list and that pulls the full text at least. But this is for the overview screen.
