# How to install discourse at namecheap shared hosting

How to install discourse at namecheap shared hosting. anyone can help me?

A good rule of thumb is that Discourse **doesn’t** work on shared hosting. And does work on most VPS services.

Looking trough namecheap KB they only provide jailed ssh. I suggest you to look another provider.
