# How to make visitors sign up after reading X number of posts?

Wheres the setup or what plugin to be able to allow visitors to read x number of posts before requiring registration?

Thanks. On Vbulletin and xenforo had a way to do this. Ive been on some other forums and had to create an account because they had it. Figured it would be done already with this considering how much the emphasis is on sign up and activity.

It have SiteSetting to configure how many topics a guest can view before displaying the ‘Guest Gate’.

Looks and works really nice btw! The can x out of it and bypass it when going to register but at least it makes it a little more of an inconvience to do it without registering

Sorry, guest gate does not really work anymore, if you need this kind of feature you would need to build something new. (a component or plugin)
