# How to overrule a color variable for one theme only?

This is considered an advanced feature, so it’s not available in the UI. You can use the [theme cli](https://meta.discourse.org/t/discourse-theme-cli-console-app-to-help-you-build-themes/82950) on ‘local themes’.
