# How to pin a topic forever?

It seems, it’s now asking to specify the date until when I want to pin a topic.

How can I pin it forever?

Set a date very far in the future. The friction here is intentional.

Not exactly “forever” but AFAIK you can enter a date way into the future that for all extant ant purpose is forever.

What the exact limit is I do not know, but I do know Suspensions take 99999 days (~274 years)

The limit is “anything that fits in the database”. Not quite sure what that is exactly.
